FEATURE Category

The Grand Prize-winning feature-length screenplay will be awarded a $5,000 cash prize
Winner will be offered the ultimate opportunity: To option the screenplay for $2,500 for 24 months + purchase prize of $25,000.
For WGA members, Competition will comply with guild rules and compensation for features with budgets of <$3M and under. Optioning the feature for 24 months for the option price indicated in the current WGA guild rules and guidelines.
Two points (2%) of back-end participation points
Union and non-union both will receive 2 points for back-end participation.
Winner will possibly be able to direct the winning feature if he/she is approved by the Sponsor. This decision is solely at the discretion of the sponsor.
Opportunity to develop and package the optioned winning screenplay alongside United Talent Agency. (Decision at the sole discretion of the sponsor & UTA)
Invitation to the ultimate awards ceremony in Hollywood/Los Angeles (Flight & Lodging paid for by SPONSOR)
Promoted and recognized in either "The Hollywood Reporter or Variety trades during one or all of the following top tier markets and festivals: Berlinale, Cannes, TIFF, and the American Film MarketWinner will also receive two points on the back end to share in the success of the film. Structure of the two points will be disclosed in the agreement provided by our sponsor

Promoted in either Variety or THR trade magazine during one or more of the top tier festivals/markets: Berlinale, Cannes, TIFF, and American Film Market.
Invitation to the 4th Edition Awards Ceremony in Hollywood/Los Angeles, California (winner responsible for their flight and lodging)

The Grand Prize-winning TV Pilot will be awarded $2,500 cash prize.
Winner will be offered the ultimate opportunity: To option the TV Pilot for $1,000 for 12 months with an option to renew for another 12 months at a renewal fee of $2,500.
Opportunity to develop and package the TV Pilot script with United Talent Agency. (Decision at the sole discretion of the Sponsor & UTA)
Invitation to the ultimate awards ceremony in Hollywood / Los Angeles. (Flights and lodging paid for by Sponsor).
Promoted and recognized in either "The Hollywood Reporter or Variety trades during one or all of the following top tier markets and festivals: Berlinale, Cannes, TIFF, and the American Film Market.

The Grand Prize-winning Short Script will be awarded $1,000 cash prize.
Winner receives the ultimate dream opportunity: "work for hire" agreement with a tiered structure compensation of $5,000 to expand the short into a feature screenplay and in the agreement will indicate that when the feature enters physical production, the writer will be compensated with additional $20,000 with 2 points back-end participation.
